Today we celebrate Senior Master Sergeant Andrew Eugene Edwards Day
Our founder, Mr. Edwards, was recognized by the Prince George’s County Council for his contribution to his community as a decorated veteran and as founder and chairman of the Academic Empowerment Foundation, Inc.
Throughout his years of serving the DC/MD/VA community, he has helped over 16,500 high school senior football players pursue their higher education goals. We are honored to continue his legacy. We continue our founder’s commitment to helping students prepare for and get through college with our semi-annual book grant, SAT & Financial Aid sessions, and sharing relevant information with you, our AEF Family. We hope you’ll help us honor Mr. Edwards on his day and continue his legacy by visiting our website (link in bio) and making a donation of any amount.
If Mr. Edwards’ work impacted you in any way over the years, we encourage you to leave a kind note or memory in the comments below. Thank you!
